FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Where is the nearest bus-stop to The Osiris? 

A. The nearest bus-stop is only a couple of minutes walk away just down the road from the property. 

 

Q. How frequent do buses pass though Marsaxlokk?

A. Buses going to Valletta pass once every 20 minutes from Monday to Saturday, and every 10 minutes on Sunday. Furthermore, there is a bus to the hospital which passes once per hour, and an airport bus that passes every hour as well. 

 

Q. Where can we park our car?

A. Parking near The Osiris is normally not difficult during the week. Parking is free of charge and there are no time restrictions. There is also a free public car park just a 4 minute walk away from THE OSIRIS. 

 

Q. What time can we check-in?

A. Check-in time is after 2.00 pm, we accept late check-ins by request, we will make the necessary arrangements. It is essential to inform the hotel your estimated time of arrival so we can plan accordingly.

 

Q. What time is the check-out?

A. Check-out time is from 10.00 am until 11.00 am. We do not grant late checkouts, however, we can hold your luggage free of charge until 3pm of check-out day. 

 

Q. What time is breakfast served?

A. Optional in-room continental breakfast is served at an additional charge upon request. This is served the afternoon before inside your room.

 

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. All bookings on the website are immediate and non-refundable.

 

Q. How can payment be done?

A. We only accept online payments. We do not accept reservations over the phone. 

 

Q. Are there any restaurants/cafeterias nearby?

A. THE OSIRIS is one minute away from Marsaxlokk’s promenade which boasts over 30 restaurants where you will be spoilt for choice. 

 

Q. Do you accommodate cots or foldable beds inside the rooms?

A. Cots and foldable beds are only allowed in the balcony and double balcony rooms. Only one cot and only one foldable bed is allowed inside each room. This must only be used with children under 18 years of age. 

 

Q. Do you accept bookings with infants?

A. We do not accept children under 2 years old in the bookings. 

 

Q. Do you accommodate twin beds?

A. All rooms can be set up with twin beds instead of double beds, just request it at the time of booking. Our rooms by default are set up with double beds.

 

Q. What size are the beds?

A. Beds are UK super king size 180 x200, so they are larger than normal. When twin beds are set up, two beds of 90cm x 200xm are supplied.

 

Q. Can you arrange for an airport transfer?

A. Yes, we do, just send us an email with your request.

 

Q. Is there a charge on coffee machine and lounge area?

A. Reception lounge is open with complimentary hot beverages between 9am-6pm.

 

Q. Is there a sea view from the room or balconies?

A. No, there is no sea view from the property. Whilst being only 1 minute walk away from the promenade, THE OSIRIS is in a quieter spot further up, so we often tend to have a more quiet property.

 

Q. What is the difference between the rooms?

A. All our rooms share the same features with the following differences. The double / twin room is an inside only room with only a window. This is the smallest room. The double / twin room with balcony is a bigger room and has a balcony. The deluxe double / twin room with double balcony is our biggest room, and is brighter due to having two balconies. 

 

Q. Do you have adapters available?

A. We do not offer adapters, however adjacent to the beds you will find a multi national plug socket so most plugs will be able to work. Voltage in Malta is 220-240V.

 

Q. Do you offer beach towel rental?

A. Beach towels are available for rent for 5 euros per towel. 

 

Q. Do you have 24 hour reception?

A. We try to be as helpful as possible throughout your stay however, we do not have 24 hour reception. We do not have fixed hours at the reception, but we are accessible through messages on whatsapp from 9am-5pm daily.  We use the whatsapp reception number as extension of reception, and offer guidance throughout your stay to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. We have cameras set up throughout the property which are continuously monitored and only people with key card access are allowed inside the building.
